Asus Eee PC 900HA Tablet Mod, So Clean It Can Be Sold En Masse

The HP Mini is not the only one making the tablet modification rounds recently. User Maine_Coon from the Eeeuser Forums has modified the Asus Eee PC 900HA into a tablet. The 900HA is a 9″ netbook with 1.6 GHz CPU, 160 GB, and 1 GB RAM. Though the 900 model, which comes with 4GB SSD only, has been hacked into a touchscreen before, this could be the first time the 900 series has been converted to a tablet. This would break the long tradition of hacking the 700 series into a tablet, which has been showcased several times.
This tablet mod is definitely one of the largest and cleanest we’ve seen. Maine_Coon described the process as “very labor-intensive” as he shows off his cutting and measuring skills. We heart the two-tone idea of a white bezel with a black base.
