Unknown Android Tablet Now Identified As Rockchip Concept Design, Makes Us Drool For Nothing

The mysterious Android tablet that kept on popping up with no identification has been finally identified as a concept design by chipmaker Rockchip, the popular supplier of portable media players, Pocketables has learned.

The pictures starting coming up last week, when an anonymous but well connected person by the name of Vincient H was publishing the pictures on his twitpic account with no other information on where the unit came from.

Now, pictures with even a greater level of beauty than before have srufaced along with a two videos demonstrating the Android tablet.  This device sports the RK2808, which Rochchip announced last month that it will use to slash the prices of Android devices.

No word yet on whether this device will be launched, though unlike the automotive industry, I don’t see much frivolous concept designs by IT hardware manufacturers.
