This Is The Real SMiT MID-360
For a couple of weeks when pictures of a mysterious Android MID kept on popping up, everyone was saying that it was the SMiT MID-360 since it looked similar to the single rendered picture on SMiT’s website. Later, it was found that that unknown device actually was just a concept device which came from chipmaker Rockchip.
Now, the real SMiT MID-360 is standing up at IFA Berlin. Shown in a somewhat hyper video, the 5 inch 800×480 touchscreen Android MID-360 runs on a 533MHz/667MHz Samsung ARM1140. It will include GPS, Wifi, and an ebook reader app which will view txt and pdf files. It has 8GB of internal Flash storage and should have 3G connectivity in three months. No price has been announced yet.
Love how the person shooting the video says “can you click a little bit to show that it’s for real”.
